Countryside Veterinary Service

Countryside is AMAZING!! Big, beautiful, very clean office. Every staff member was so helpful and treated us the best! Took my shepherd in to be spayed and I knew she would not cooperate. The staff worked around it to get the job done. I was called a few times with updates and they even called to update me on the bill so it wouldn't be a surprise at the end. This was our very first visit and experience with Countryside and we will definitely be going back!! I just can't say enough good about them!!

Big shout out to Countryside Veterinary Service. My sweet baby Lu wouldn’t stand on Tuesday night so we rushed her up there Wednesday morning thinking it was her hips (she will be 11 this year) They got her right in and with X-rays they found a mass on her spleen. While in surgery they took the mass, her spleen and another mass they found while they were operating. Dr. Natalie and her team took such good care of our girl and we are so grateful!

They took care of me and my cat when he suddenly took a bad turn and needed not to suffer anymore. All other places wanted to make appointments weeks later, like whatever my cat is suffering and needs help now. This place is like clean and new and nice staff, with heart,I love all the people that worked there with the understanding and help they gave.

My 11 month old puppy had surgery over the summer at the other location in Hillsboro and dr chad almost killed him. He had uncontrollable bleeding from his incision for days afterwards..I picked my pup on a Thursday, (mind you he was so extremely lethargic it was horrible) and made a trip back on Saturday, and again on that following Monday. He assured me both times it was normal and everything was fine. Did no imaging, no blood work, nothing. Tuesday evening I came home from work and his insides were hanging out of his incision a good 4 inches. I had to rush him to an emergency hospital where he had to have emergency surgery. The vet dr there explained in notes and to myself how messy the past surgery was done and he had adhesions so bad the surgery site couldn't even be seen. Dr chad did not put enough stitch in to hold him together properly from inside to out. After I was able to discuss this issue with Dr chad on the phone, he screamed at me, he refused any reimbursement or help on the 2nd surgery bill done at the 2nd place to fix his screw ups, and also refused his lawyer and insurance information. He is removing all my reviews on his face book page blocking me and refuses to now speak to me. Look at both places before you take your babies here as its the same doctors and listen to the couple reviews who show they almost have killed their dogs in surgery because i almost lost mine. I also just heard from a former patient Dr Stacey administered a wrong heart med and killed that family's dog. These facilities clearly don't fully know what their doing or they just do not care and is all for the money.. if you love your pets, I advise you to not use do either of these locations because you dont know what kind of care and/or if its the proper care that will be recieved.

I have just recently taken one of my dogs to the Countryside Clinic. I have been to both sites, Hillsboro and Taylorville. I have been very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the clinics. The different Vets I have dealt with were very professional and always willing to answer all my questions and concerns. I feel very comfortable that my dogs would be in good hands at this clinic.

Wish there was a rating lower than one.Was told our pet was stable by the receptionist. I as ked to have Dr Natalie call me at her convenience but before leaving for the day.The response from the receptionist was Why?When I discussed this with Dr Natalie,her response was you have to understand I am busy.They are not too busy to accept payment.Either they are unable to recognize a critically ill pet or they don't care.Would advise anyone not to take their pet here.
